I have to say that it really is amazing to see how many things changed here in Durban since the World Cup... Little things and big things! Overall the city definitely seems to be much more friendly to me. I love the trees wrapped in all sorts of coloured textiles that you still find on several street corners...
And how about this lonely parrot that someone seems to have forgotten! Winter doesn't seem to be a reality in Durban. This barren tree is a rare sight and one of the few indications that winter is actually here; the blue skies and temperatures of around 24 degrees every day certainly doesn't suggest it!
